cruelty-free Halloween candy!

have you been hoping to make your Halloween vegan, but you just don't which kinds of candy to get?

Besides the obvious milk & eggs—here are some ingredients you should watch out for:
Casein (made from milk), Carmine/Natural Red 4 (made from insects - yep), Gelatin (made by boiling animal bones/tendons/skin), Honey (from harvesting bees nests), Lard (pig fat), Pepsin (pigs’ stomachs), Rennet (baby calves’ stomachs), Stearic Acid (animal fat), Cetyl Palmitate (oil from dolphin/whale bodies), Urea (animal urine/fluids—used in some pretzels, ack!), and E 904, E 120, 901, 904, 542!
