two great events in the Niagara arts community are set for this Friday, December 2nd:
at Fine Grind Cafe (37 James Street, St. Catharines) at 7pm, the Brock University Creative Writers' Club presents the second lit reading of their school year! the evening will feature poetry, prose, and more from Emma Romme, Jc Brown, Steve Greenwood, Ed Edmonds, Carlos Morales, and Shannon Maguire!
and, over at Rise Above vegan restaurant (120 St. Paul Street, St. Catharines) at 8pm, the Department of Visual Arts at Brock U and the Radical Info Shop are teaming up to present another 'pARTners for change' art show-- a silent auction of art created by local artists!
half the proceeds made from each piece will go directly to the artist, and the other half will be donated to student scholarships and the community programming put on by the Radical Info Shop!
