typography class in the Niagara region!

The Niagara Artists’ Centre (NAC) and CRAM Press present ‘An Intro to Waterless Lithography Workshop’, taking place this Saturday, December 4th, and Sunday, December 5th! (Both days will be from noon ‘til five.) The workshop will teach you the essentials on how to use laser toner on aluminum plates for your printmaking (and you’ll actually get to create 6 prints)! If you're familiar with the printmaking process, or if you're brand spankin’ new to typography, this event is for everyone—it’s mostly about having fun, learning things you didn't know, and hanging out with some cool people! :)
The class is instructed by artist, and current Master Printer of CRAM press, José Armando Medina – whose long list of achievements include being the Head of the Print Board of the Academy of Arts in Santiago de Cuba since the year 2000, and having participated in 90+ art exhibitions around the globe.

The workshop is $150 ($125 for NAC or CRAM members), and the materials are all included-- sweeeeet!

You can register in person at the NAC (354 St. Paul Street, St. Catharines, Ontario), by telephone (905-641-0331), or by emailing Kasia Smuga, one of the NAC’s administrators, at ksmuga@gmail.com :)

If you wanna learn a bit more about the class you can see the NAC event page, or visit the CRAM website!
