about us

greetings from the off-planet!
welcome to dead (g)end(er):
the one-stop shop for all your bio-exorcism needs.

dg is an independently run and published alternative art+lit mag based out of the Niagara region in Ontario, Canada.

we were established in the late of 2010 by a community of nerdy punks dedicated to promoting only the most progressive, original, eclectic, and just plain awesome art and literature.

we’re less of a magazine, and more of a collection of COOL…
an anthology of AWESOME!

dg seeks to publish a diverse range of artistic styles and media by an even more eclectic bunch of artists and writers!

in three issues, we’ve printed more than fifty artists from all around the world including such places as Australia, Scotland, England, Chile, New York City, Colorado, Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Hamilton, Guelph, London, Niagara, and a ton more!

we like the universal just as much as we like the experimental—though, a mixture of the two is always encouraged! as long as it’s cool, we will publish it!

we print biannually in the spring and fall—usually in the months of April and October.

dg believes in D.I.Y arts and culture.

*dg is an LGBTQ friendly magazine. we encourage all LGBTQ artists to submit their work, and let their voices be heard!*
